Dear Folks,

For my first post, I want to let you know that it is a real pleasure to have this opportunity to record my thoughts and feelings about Middle Eastern affairs. It is a part of the world that has fascinated me since I was fifteen years old. The outbreak of the second intifada was an awakening for me into this troubled spot.

I was for years a big fan of the pen and paper, but the ease and freedom that the internet offers, makes things a lot easier. I shall be taking baby steps at first, but I want to build a blog that will be interesting and fun to read.
